An emerging need exists for educational innovation regarding wound and ostomy care to improve quality of care, nursing care outcomes, and staff engagement. Through a peer-to-peer approach to wound and ostomy care education, enhanced clinical knowledge and competencies can result in improved patient safety and increase care outcomes.
