Young adults with mild and moderate-to-severe TMD experienced substantially higher emotional distress and lower eudaimonia than those with no TMD. As emotional distress and eudaimonic well-being are interrelated, positive psychological interventions may be beneficial for managing TMD-related psychosocial disabilities.
