Management of advanced prolapse including a bowel obstruction: expanding the role of transvaginal surgery.

We present a case of incidental bowel pathology during vaginal prolapse surgery, requiring a small bowel resection. This case demonstrates the feasibility of this procedure when working with a multi-disciplinary team and localized bowel pathology.
