There is a relatively high success rate of direct IANB technique among dental students. This confirms the inclusion of this technique in the curriculum. Furthermore, the high rate of positive aspiration reflects the awareness and competency of dental students with the aspiration technique. In turn, this will reduce the failure of anesthesia and the subsequent systemic complications.
