The catalytic activity of photozymes can be regulated through light irradiation time and intensity, but they still suffer from low activity in physiologically neutral pH (typically, pH < 5). Herein, through simple post-synthetic incorporation of Pt, the neutral pH activity of the g-C 3 N 4 nanosheet (CNNS) was activated. Most importantly, the catalytic activities of Pt@CNNS at pH 4.0 and 7.0 were ∼19- and 4.7-fold higher than that of CNNS at pH 4 (the optimal pH for CNNS).
