A retrospective study on tuberculosis treatment outcomes at Jinka General Hospital, southern Ethiopia.

The result showed that 13.1% (154/1172) of the cases were cured, 60.9% treatment completed, 10.2% died and 9.1% were lost to follow-up. Thus, the overall treatment success rate was 74%. Male patients [AOR = 0.70 (0.52-0.93)] and HIV co-infected patients [AOR = 0.67 (0.45-0.98)] were associated with unsuccessful treatment outcomes.
