In general, CDC-funded HIV testing is being conducted in jurisdictions with the greatest needs. However, we also found large discrepancies between CDC-funded HIV testing and undiagnosed HIV infection rates for some jurisdictions. These jurisdictions may want to identify barriers to their HIV testing services and expand their programs to ensure that all PWH in their jurisdictions are diagnosed.
