Does Vaginal Parity Alter the Association Between Symptoms and Signs of Pelvic Organ Prolapse?

Although vaginal childbirth is associated with symptoms of prolapse, the number of vaginal births does not alter the relationship between symptoms and signs of prolapse among individuals presenting to a tertiary care center for evaluation. Previously published limits for "normal" pelvic organ mobility can be used irrespective of vaginal parity.
