Factors associated with diet failure after colon cancer surgery.

Early diet resumption does not increase diet failure and can reduce hospital stay. Anastomosis and operation time may be related to diet failure. Our study suggests that evaluation of surgical factors is important for postoperative recovery, and well-designed follow-up studies are needed.
