Fusarium endophthalmitis needs an aggressive management. Due to late recurrence regular follow-up is mandatory. Early vitrectomy with oral and intravitreal voriconazole is the treatment of choice. Transscleral cryotherapy is a useful option to treat fungal balls behind the iris tissue.
