Both techniques are effective, safe, and inexpensive methods of surgical repigmentation of stable localized/segmental vitiligo. mPG gives earlier and better percent of repigmentation, with higher incidence of cobblestoning. FUT is a good alternative for mPG, especially in hairy areas with better cosmetic outcome and minimal complications.
