Osteoporosis and Osteopenia in patients with psoriatic arthritis: a single-center retrospective study.

In patients with PsA, males are at elevated risk of osteoporosis and associated fragility fractures even if they are under 50 years old. BMI was significantly lower in osteoporotic cases, suggesting the importance of bone mineral density testing and treatment in such cases.
