The article explores the balance between technical proficiency and compassionate care in nursing education. The importance of comprehensive educator training in utilizing VR and simulation to instill humanistic values, along with the need for curriculum development that seamlessly integrates compassionate care throughout nursing programs, is underscored. By emphasizing the integration of empathy, emotional intelligence, and reflection into VR and simulation experiences, nursing education can ensure that graduates possess the skill sets and values essential for patient-centered practice.
