Although previous literature has demonstrated long-term clinical success of osteochondral allograft transplantation in knee, excellent clinical outcomes can also be obtained in the hip. Thus, osteochondral allograft transplantation may be a viable treatment option for adolescents and young adults with concomitant cartilage and subchondral bone hip defects.
