HyperPRL is a complex clinical syndrome frequent in the psychiatric population with detrimental long-term consequences, as well as its relationship with the use of psychotropic drugs as in the case of antipsychotics. Effective actions should be implemented in the prevention, approach and treatment of this condition paying special attention to the accompanying medical comorbidities.
