Acupuncture versus Lornoxicam in the Treatment of Acute Renal Colic: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

Acupuncture at SP6, SP9 and intramuscular injection of lornoxicam can effectively and safely relieve ARC, but the former has faster and better analgesic effect. Moreover, the incidence of adverse reactions was similar between the two treatments. This acupuncture therapy is recommended as a complementary therapy for ARC.
