Inflammation, which was defined as a combination of fibrinogen, white blood cell count, and albumin, was associated with all 1-year adverse outcomes among patients with AIS. Routine assessment of these biomarkers could become a potential part of the clinical evaluation for patients with AIS, especially those without CKD, aiding clinicians in risk stratification and treatment decision-making.
