A novel In 2 O 3 @NC catalyst has been prepared and employed in CO 2 electroreduction to HCOOH. The C and N species successfully improve the electronic structure of In 2 O 3 and enhance the adsorption ability of CO 2 . The In 2 O 3 @NC catalyst exhibits a remarkably high FE HCOOH of 97.1%, j total of 190 mA cm -2 , and stability for 60 h.
