The rat dyskinetic syndrome has Glu/GABA-Gln abnormalities. "Tiapride" upregulated the protein expression of GS and EAAT2, reduce Glu levels, increase γ-GABA levels, and eventually improve amino acid neurotransmitter imbalance.
