A 54-year-old man with medical history of diabetes mellitus type 2 and tonsil cancer treated with radiochemotherapy years ago, was admitted to hospital due to one-month progressive diarrhea, epigastric pain and 14-kg weight loss. Laboratory data revealed mild anemia (Hb 10.8 gr/dl). Upper endoscopy (UE) showed multiple ulcerated lesions with raised edges and hard consistency on biopsy, being more evident at duodenum and with less frequency and smaller diameter in the stomach.
