The use of multielectrode catheters to measure human bladder electrophysiologic activity is feasible. Issues with noise reduction still exist, though to a lesser extent with the multielectrode basket design than simple quadripolar one. Sensory responses to pacing stimuli may be useful for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in the future.
