A neurotransmitter histamine mediating phototransduction and photopreference in Callosobruchus maculatus.

This is the first study analyzing the molecular characteristics of C. maculatus photopreference, which forms the basis for molecular mechanism of effects of histamine on its visual transduction and preference.
