Postoperative endophthalmitis with and without intracameral moxifloxacin prophylaxis in a high volume surgery setting.

Prophylactic use of intracameral moxifloxacin injection in addition to subconjunctival gentamycin in cataract surgery is associated with a significant decrease in rates of postoperative endophthalmitis when compared with the use of subconjunctival gentamycin alone in high volume settings.
