The one-stage obstruction-based approach, which demonstrated favorable success rates in treating CNLDO and introduced a paradigm shift in the treatment strategy after probing failure, underscores the importance of tailoring interventions to the specific obstruction type. The study also highlights the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of performing multiple BDP, MCI, or external DCR procedures concurrently during the same anesthesia session, further emphasizing the crucial role of customizing treatments based on the nature of the obstruction.
