The caesium salt of dimethyl- N -benzoyl-amido-phosphate, namely, aqua-[di-meth-yl ( N -benzoyl-amido-κ O )phospho-nato-κ O ]caesium, [Cs(C 9 H 11 NO 4 P)(H 2 O)] or Cs L ·H 2 O, is reported. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system in the P 2 1 / c space group and forms a mono-periodic polymeric structure due to the bridging function of the dimethyl- N -benzoyl-amido-phosphate anions towards the caesium cations.
