First report of Aphrialatifrons (Diptera, Tachinidae, Leskiini) in the Canary Islands.

, a Palaearctic tachinid fly, is reported for the first time from the Canary Islands, where it was found on Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. Morphological examination was carried out and the first known barcode of the species is presented. Its potential distribution and source of origin are discussed.
