To our knowledge, this is the first study showing correlation of NLR with both CHA2 DS2 -VASc and HAS-BLED risk scores. NLR might represent a useful marker to identify patients with high risks of stroke and bleeding and may have predictive value in identifying patients within the therapeutic INR range.
