Intermediate-risk nonagenarians undergoing TAVR have similar postoperative outcomes compared to intermediate-risk octogenarians. However, high-risk nonagenarian patients undergoing TAVR experience significantly poorer outcomes compared to their octogenarian counterparts. Judicious patient selection for TAVR in this subgroup of patients is therefore warranted.
