Self-disgust in Patients with Dermatological Diseases.

This study points to the important role of self-disgust in dermatological conditions. Public health programs to counteract stigmatization of patients with skin diseases as well as therapy approaches that help decrease patients' self-disgust and increase self-acceptance are urgently needed.
