Prolotherapy is a relatively noninvasive, safer, and effective treatment modality with a high success rate for patients with CRTD. Both, ABI and dextrose, proved effective in reducing the pain and joint hypermobility associated with CTRDs within a week. ABI proved to be more efficient in reducing the mouth opening and limiting the dislocation of TMJ as compared to dextrose therapy.
