Increasing age, seizures, QRS widening, and QTc prolongation were associated with adverse cardiovascular events in bupropion exposures. Adverse cardiovascular events did not occur in unintentional exposures. Further research is needed to develop screening tools and treatments for bupropion cardiotoxicity.
