The presented imaging modalities can provide a wide spectrum of quantifiable information relevant to development and progression of the spinal deformity. Clinical application of these technologies can change the paradigm in clinical assessment of the pediatric scoliosis by improving our understanding of the pathogenesis of the idiopathic scoliosis.
