A meticulous preoperative assessment for shunt track localization, intraoperative visualization of shunt tip with CSF flow, vigilant perioperative anesthetic monitoring, and shunt dysfunction surveillance are crucial for favorable outcomes in laparoscopic procedures for these patients.
