The patients evaluated in this study self-perceived their voice-related quality of life as positive. Mild anxiety traits were identified, with a reduction after one week postoperatively and an increase after three months. The self-perception of better voice-related quality of life in the postoperative period is weakly related to the reduction of anxiety levels.
