Stemphylium lycopersici displayed higher incidence, wider host range, and it was the more disseminated causal agent of the disease in Solanaceae, being detected across all macro-regions of Brazil. Hence, this pathogen should be the focus of breeding programs aimed at developing resistant Solanaceae cultivars.
