Investigating the impact of OCT imaging of the crystalline lens on the accuracy and precision of cataract assessment.

The addition of anterior segment OCT to SL images improved the accuracy of lens opacity grading. Structural assessment alone yielded more conservative decision making, which reversed once visual functional data was available.
