Malnutrition is relatively common in elderly patients undergoing gastrectomy. Advanced age, duration of surgery, lower levels of PNI, and postoperative complications were risk factors associated with delay discharge. Elderly gastric cancer patients with risk factors urgently require specific attention for reducing hospital stay.
