Vitiligo is an acquired condition which presents as cutaneous depigmentation. There is no licensed treatment for the re-pigmentation of vitiligo lesions, however, several therapies are used routinely and have been studied in clinical trials. These include: topical corticosteroids, calcineurin inhibitors and phototherapy.
