Two hydrogen-bonded crosslinked organic frameworks (H C OFs) were synthesized via free radical reactions utilizing butadiene and isoprene as crosslinkers. These H C OFs exhibit high crystallinity, enabling detailed structural characterization via single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Subsequently, one of the olefin-rich H C OFs was converted to a hydroxylated framework through hydroboration-oxidation while maintaining the high crystallinity.
