Although administration without food demonstrated an apparent increase in RIVA 36 hours after drug administration, clinically relevant differences among treatment groups were not identified in combined analyses of time points. Based on these results, dogs treated with rivaroxaban do not require special modification of feeding practices or gastroprotectant drug administration.
