Effects of a daily three-meal pattern with different dietary protein contents on pig growth performance, carcass and muscle quality traits.

Collectively, our results indicate that feeding high protein meal in the morning and a gradual reduction of the protein content in meals over the day may improve muscle quality characteristics, maximise performance, and reduce the pig feed cost. © 2017 Society of Chemical Industry.
