IVC filter tilt ≥5.0°, dwell time and age are associated with challenging retrieval. Right jugular vein access, multiple imaging projections, and careful filter manipulation during deployment should be considered to maintain tilt at ˂ 5.0° and decrease the likelihood of challenging retrieval.
