Effects of Baerveldt Glaucoma Implant Surgery on Corneal Endothelial Cells of Patients with No History of Trabeculectomy.

The mean of ECD did not decrease significantly after BGI surgery in VC group patients with no history of trabeculectomy. BGI surgery insertion to the vitreous cavity was safe and had much less effect on the ECD decrease compared to insertion to the anterior chamber.
