Transcriptional profiling and T-cell receptor repertoire analysis of tumor biopsies from 144 Ugandan adults with KS demonstrate that a systemic, persistent, polyspecific KSHV-specific T-cell response exists and is likely inhibited by M2 macrophages within the tumor micro-environment.
