Patients' beliefs as predictors of patient satisfaction and health-related quality of life in pediatric rehabilitation.

This study provides a first insight into the relationships between these constructs in the context of inpatient pediatric rehabilitation. However, future research is needed to further examine illness and treatment beliefs in this specific treatment setting. Practical implications concern the incorporation of children's and adolescents' beliefs into treatment management to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
