Peripartum clinical manifestations of a mesentericorenocaval shunt in a Burmese cat.

Mesentericorenocaval portosystemic shunt morphology has not been previously reported in the cat and should be considered as a differential diagnosis for cats presenting with peripartum onset of malaise, ptyalism or ataxia.
