We read with interest the article by Franklin et al.(1) discussing the predictive value of 3T multiparametric MRI and PSMA PET/CT scan for pathological outcomes at radical prostatectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND) for prostate cancer (PCa), recently published in the British Journal of Urology International. We all recognize that both multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) and PSMA PET/CT have been progressively gaining space in the diagnosis and staging of PCa and we expect that the diffusion of these exciting modalities will skyrocket up over time.
