Lung US in the lateral decubitus position seems to be faster and more convenient. There appears to be no difference regarding feasibility and the number of B-lines, whereas it shows slightly higher correlation with high-resolution CT, compared with the sitting or supine positions in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
