[Hypothalamic hamartoma microsurgical resection using transcallosal transforaminal approach].

In a subset of carefully selected patients with rather small Delalande-Type II sessile hypothalamic hamartomas in case of obliterated Cavum Septi Pellucidum the transcallosal transforaminal approach may be attempted in alternative to conventionally used transseptal interforniceal route with similar outcome and acceptable morbidity.
