Thromboelastography correlated significantly with standard laboratory assays in ongoing postpartum hemorrhage, including for patients with hypofibrinogenemia Given the point-of-care nature and rapid turnaround time, thromboelastography should be considered for timely hemorrhage evaluation and directed resuscitation of coagulopathy.
